Years ago, Shekharankutty’s beautiful, free-spirited wife fell in love with the estate’s young, charismatic music tutor, Krishnan. Their affair was passionate but secret. Nithya was born from that love. Consumed by rage and jealousy, Shekharankutty planned a terrible revenge. He engineered a "freak accident" on a rainy night: the car carrying his wife and Krishnan plunged into the gorge. Krishnan died instantly.
