To save the forest, Dolittle must introduce a mate to the lone female Pacific Western bear living there, named Ava (voiced by Lisa Kudrow). The problem is that the only available male bear is Archie (voiced by Steve Zahn), a circus performer who is lazy, domesticated, and has no idea how to survive in the wild.
