Ladyboy Bella Galleries

Bella Charoen, a former fashion photographer and a self‑identified kathoey , launched Bella Galleries in 2013 after a decade of documenting Thailand’s nightlife and its transgender community. Her intention was twofold: to provide a professional platform for kathoey artists whose work was often marginalized, and to challenge the voyeuristic gaze that tourism had imposed on trans bodies.
