Unfreedom.2015.720p.WEB.DL.ENG.2.0.ESub.x264.mkv

Stands for "Web Download," meaning the file was sourced directly from a streaming service (like Netflix), ensuring high quality without the watermarks often found in TV rips.

In this article, we’ll explore:

Despite its indie status, Unfreedom became a target for copyright infringement, appearing on torrent sites shortly after its limited theatrical release—hence the filename we’re dissecting.

Need to check the exact bitrate or encoding settings? Use ffmpeg -i "Unfreedom.2015.720p.WEB.DL.ENG.2.0.ESub.x264.mkv" or open with MediaInfo. Do not rename the MKV if you want subtitle tracks to remain auto-detected by players like Plex or VLC.

  • Hi Sandy,

I’ve come across some clients where this policy doesn’t seem to work. I’ve checked the registry keys and confirmed that the values are set as expected.

Client logs indicate that that the device is on a metred connection, when in reality it isn’t, it thinks it is on metered because there’s also a 4G connection – but that’s not being used.

The only way I could get the clients to talk again is by turning off the cellular connection. Is there any way to work around this?

    Thank you.
