This paper investigates the growing trend of repacked “Far Cry 4” PPSSPP files circulating on forums and torrent sites. Despite Far Cry 4 never being ported to PlayStation Portable, such repacks claim full playability via the PPSSPP emulator. We analyze three popular repacks for file structure, malware presence, and actual content — finding that all repacks contain either (a) a modified Far Cry 2 ISO, (b) Android wrapper malware, or (c) corrupted data designed to exploit emulator vulnerabilities.
