The "BETTER" project became a catalyst for Hazel's personal growth. It encouraged her to reevaluate her priorities and aspirations. With the support of her new friends and mentors, she found the courage to pursue her passion for photography more seriously, eventually declaring a minor in fine arts.
The experience had been difficult, but it also served as a learning opportunity. Hazel became more cautious about the relationships she formed and more vocal about her boundaries. She also started attending workshops on consent and healthy relationships, which helped her understand the dynamics of power and exploitation.
