Look for cracks in the environment or red barrels placed near suspiciously solid-looking walls. When you enter one, a chime sounds, and text appears on screen: “Secret Place Found!” You’ll then face a wave of tougher enemies, but the reward is always worth the risk.

Secret #22 – This level has anti-gravity pads. Don't use the obvious one. Instead, go to the far left corner, where a broken pad flickers. Step on it three times. On the third time, it launches you to a hidden upper catwalk. Loot: BFG 9000-style Energy Cannon (3 shots only – use wisely).
