Here’s a solid, ready-to-post guide for Achievement Watcher — perfect for a Reddit guide, Steam community post, or personal gaming wiki.

🏆 Achievement Watcher: The Ultimate Guide to Tracking & Logging Your Game Achievements (Even Outside Steam) Achievement Watcher is a must-have tool for PC gamers who want a unified, trackable, and offline-first achievement system. It’s especially great for cracked games, GOG, Epic, or any game that doesn’t natively report achievements to a central profile.

📌 What Is Achievement Watcher? Achievement Watcher (AW) is a desktop application that:

Reads achievement data from locally stored game files Works with Steam , GOG , Epic , and many cracked/emu releases (Goldberg, Steamless, Codex, etc.) Shows your progress, completion %, and unlock dates Supports achievement notifications (toast popups) Can export/sync to online trackers like Exophase or completionist.me

⚠️ AW does NOT cheat achievements. It only reads existing unlock data from your PC.

🔧 Installation (Step-by-Step) 1. Download

Get the latest release from the official GitHub: https://github.com/agix/achievement-watcher (look under Releases) Extract the .zip to a folder like C:\Games\AchievementWatcher

2. Run & First Launch

Launch AchievementWatcher.exe Windows SmartScreen may warn you – click More info → Run anyway

3. Configure Folders (Crucial!) AW needs to know where your games store achievement data. Go to Settings → Folders and add these if they exist: | Game Source | Folder Path | |-------------|--------------| | Steam | %ProgramFiles(x86)%\Steam\steamapps\common (scanning is automatic) | | Steam (userdata) | C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\ (your Steam ID folder) | | GOG Galaxy | C:\ProgramData\GOG.com\Galaxy\storage\ | | Epic Games | C:\ProgramData\Epic\EpicOnlineServices\ | | Goldberg emu | In game folder: .\achievements.json or .\steam_settings\ | | Codex/others | %AppData%\Goldberg SteamEmu Saves\ or game folder |

💡 For cracked games: AW supports most emus out of the box (Ali213, Codex, FLT, RUNE, etc.). Just point it to the folder where the emu saves achievements.txt or .ini .

4. Test Click Scan Now in AW. Any recognized games will appear. If nothing shows, check folder paths.
